Marianne Huber Van Scoyoc

Marianne Huber Van Scoyoc, 76, died Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Halifax Regional Medical Center.

Marianne was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to the late Paul A. Huber and Germayne Fischer Huber. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Barry L. Van Scoyoc of the home; their children, Michael Van Scoyoc and wife, Laura, of Glen Allen, VA, David Van Scoyoc and wife, Cathleen, of Crofton, MD, Mark Van Scoyoc and wife, Kimberly, of Lake Wylie, SC and Meghaan Markham and husband, Craig, of Pinehurst, NC; her siblings, brother, Fred Huber and wife, Ilene; sister, Carolyn Galasso and husband, Ralph; Barbara Sivi (deceased) and husband, Ron; and Paul Huber (deceased), and wife, Sally. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Eric Van Scoyoc and wife, Lauren, Jessica Van Scoyoc, Jacob Van Scoyoc, Allison Van Scoyoc, Matthew Van Scoyoc, Bryan Van Scoyoc, William Van Scoyoc, Sarah Van Scoyoc, Rylan Markham and Karee Markham.

The family will receive friends at Askew Funeral Service- Roanoke Rapids; Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6-8 pm. Father Pius Wekesa will conduct a Funeral Mass at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 am with inurnment to follow in the church's columbarium.

In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorial contributions be made to: St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, 115 E. 9th St. Roanoke Rapids, NC 27870.
